The Canary Islands are located in the Atlantic Ocean, just a few miles western to the coast of Maroco. This archipelago is part of Spain and consist of seven islands (Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Tenerife, La Palma, Gomera, and Hierro) and six volcanic islets.
Sailing the area you can enjoy from sub-tropical vegetation to volcanic and deserted landscapes, enjoying an exceptional natural environment. Prevailing winds can be strong, especially in between the islands, thus a level of experience is required to sail the area.
